Default leaking water passenger's window

Backed out of the driveway after a night of heavy rain and noticed water coming in over the top of the passenger's side window. There's always been definate air flow noise on that side; my question is are the windows controlled by a proximity switch or do they stop when they hit resistance? Also, are the latches adjustable. The roof latch on that side of the car seems too easy to close and wonder if that is the problem. Thanks.

I did a couple searches myself for ya...no joy. My not finding anything on adjusting the latches doesn't mean they can't be however...just didn't find anything on the forums right away. Is your car still under warranty?

Yeah, you should make this a warranty claim. There may be 2 possibilities to your problem. 1 is the soft top latch not pulling down on the top enough to make that last bit of seal. There are shimming possibilities to fix this or they can put in the hardtop latches (TSB?) which does in fact pull the top much firmer. The 2nd solution could be adjusting the window angle itself. I remember the Helm manual having a section that deals with this. It can make the window angle more toward the seal thus making it a tighter fit. This, of course, would require fiddling inside the door so might be a good time to change speakers.

I had the same problem. The did Honda did some adjustments to the latch and window and its fine now. It does not seem to be a reoccuring problem - I had mine fixed over a year ago and like I said its fine now.

Bringing this back, My passenger window leaks where the top folds about halfway back on the window. Anyone know how to adjust the top latches? And the window?
