Default Softtop seal problem

I got in my car this morning and looked at my driverside window and noticed that there was rain water that had entered thru the seal right where the softtop and the window and the windshield pillar meets. I thought well maybe the water got in when I opened the door, but sure enough droplets of water continued to leak in while I was driving. I know not to spray water at the window and seals because that can mess up the contacts, and I have been very good about this. I also am good about keeping the seals nice with shin-etsu grease. Has anyone else had a problem, and what should I do to fix it?

no top rattles?
and your window is going all the way up?

sounds like you have taken proper care of it... the only thing i can think of is that either the top or the window isnt tight enough-

The driver side latch has always rattled, but it doesnt rattle anyworse than usual. The water is coming in right at the corner where the window angles down towards the rearview mirror (If that makes sense). And it is slow thus far. How much would getting the seal replace cost? Honda will probably charge over $100. I can deal with it for now since it is very slow, but I dont want it to get much worse.

Cover the little hooks on your strikers (or whatever they're called) with rubber tubing or something of the sort. So when you lock your top it pulls the top down farther and creates a better seal. I just did this to get rid of the wind noise i was getting at freeway speeds. It should work for your water seal. I'd also 303 the rubber seals and top.

Yeah the strikers wear low sometimes. You can get new ones from hardtopguy. i think they are cheap enough, however, the rubber solution might satisfy your needs.
