Default is the lease residual negotiable at all?

My lease runs out in 5 months, and I will be under the mileage limit by 10,000 miles!! I wonder if the residual is negotiable at all? Honda says it's not "officially", but I wonder if there are ways... I know BMW FS allows dealers to negotiate residuals with their customers. any insights are appreciated.

BTW, it's nice of Honda to offer $1500 allowance for wear & tear.

On the front yes, on the backend it depends on the lender. Honda finacial gets them pretty close but i negotiated a much better residual on a friends Jeep for her. The took almost $4200 off the residual....OUCH

Honda Finance Does not negotiate the residual. If you're that far unde your lease you may have a little equity.
