Default Leather scratch on steering wheel

During some fun driving, my fingernail scratched the leather on the lower side of the steering wheel. It's not visible, it just feels goofy when I turn.

Any suggestions for a repair?

Most auto supply stores carry a repair kit for this problem. It's a 'barely acceptable' fix in my humble opinion. Don't expect a prefect color match nor a perfect surface texture match either. It's more of an 'acceptable" coverup. It reminds of a female I once knew who had severe acne scars. She used some type of product that I would describe as 'human bondo'.

I would recommend getting a steering wheel cover if you forsee scratching the steering wheel cover again in the future.
