Hitech Designs has some really good stuff, but mine will be aimed at a lower price point, as his changes colors.

Hopefully I'll have everything prepared in a week or so.

I'm on it!

I'm paying $36 for air mail from China, so hopefully it'll be here soon.

JayJones, I have the one from gotuning. I would rate them as very poor for LED! Overprice JDM piece, the way they assembled the bulb is very nice though but the light outcome is very weak compare to design of the second link you posted.
Should I cancel the order?

Also, i think the output is probably weak because, there's not many bulbs that are plug in play, that necessarily fit right into the 2000 license plate late, and also, most cars have 2 license plate bulbs, s2000's only have one.

those are go tunings license plate lates for half the price. Probably should've got those, but well see how these last. I dont really necessarily want them so bright the whole world can see my licese plate from miles away, i just wanted the hyper white "lexus style" color.

Here's my contribution and a pic of my interior. It's not completely dark yet so it doesn't show how bright they actually are at night but I got them from ledautomotive.com for $5 or $6 a piece

Wired driver side button for Dome light, passenger side for footwell. When doors open and switch si on center, both turn on, if I only want one to go on, I.E. if I'm teaching someone to drive stick, I'll turn on the footwell one while moving..that way I'm not blind AND I can see their feet.

Bought both from oznium, LED silicone encased strip + board LED. to get the board to fit, you have to cut the divder..the board comes with a drop in LED adapter. Also, the board is insanely bright - if it comes on at night, you go temporarily blind so that was a fail, wasnt expecting it that bright.

-stealth edit~

if anyones wondering, drivers footwell is a easy install, i used the vent with the holes as a mounting point, got the Oznium encased strip and tie strapped/ziptied it on. very clean install as the width of the strip is just right sized. wired it in series with the passenger side lights. The total watt draw on LED's are low so I figure its okay. I'm pretty sure the OEM bulbs draw more power. The passenger install was a bit tricky: I had to attach the LED strip to the HVAC pump wire. it looks ugly if you look at the strip, but you gotta be 3" tall to see it anyway. the light output on the Oznium strips are very wide angle so theres so much overlap that the passenger side looks exactly like the driver side.

Oznium has been pretty good w. customer service too!

-another edit-

dont diss my green

Sorry, but mine will be cheaper and most likely brighter.

I guess I'll need to buy some 'name brand' and JDM bulbs and compar-o-test them to mine
