Yeah, there are board lights and drop ins - I'm interested in a drop in that's a simple swap.
That said, the 2nd link JayJones posted looks like a nicer solution for the dome/map.

My brother had a New 5series BMW that had Red/Orange LED lighting that was always on at night. It lit up the cabin to a decent level to read and didn't interfere with the review mirror at all.

Also, i think the output is probably weak because, there's not many bulbs that are plug in play, that necessarily fit right into the 2000 license plate late, and also, most cars have 2 license plate bulbs, s2000's only have one.

irv, if you read my post you'll see that its a design detail. all you need is the right type of LED (im assuming its a different housing which acts as a lens..) that spreads the beam..

That statement's a bit misleading. Unless you're making your own boards they're very simple. Compared to drop in there's one more step and that's securing the board with double-sided tape.

My fiancee's Rogue has this as well. It's a nice feature.
I think the real problem is the direction that the LED's are mounted. You're "wasting" light if is isn't directed downward in the trunk and license locations (the socket is to one side in each location). That type of LED light would probably work well in a sidemarker or similar application where the bulb points directly outward and is intended to shine in the same direction.

Last night I installed my light kit from IJDMtoy.com. I got to say I am impressed with the brightness and to my surprise it even came with a trunk replacement bulb (which it did not say on the websit)
I ordered the ultra blue and if I had to go back I would have ordered the xenon white instead. The ultra blue...well is ultra blue so I'm not sure if the Po Po will give me problems for my license plate light. I live in CA, any thoughts?
PS - I was going to take pics but my IPhone sucks at taking pictures in the dark.
