High revving 5-cylinder S2400/2500 sounds cool to me. Keep the engine behind the front axle and give it a bigger fuel tank, bigger/stronger diff, and maybe further back seats with a smaller trunk to keep the 50/50 weight.

Oh, and lose the cruise control. That's unnecessary for a true roadster. It's just another thing to break and IDK how much weight it'll save but it should help.

Keep the ABS and radio though. A/C doesn't have to be as powerful, maybe we could save weight there too.

And for the love of god, no traction/stability control. Honda needs to find a way around any legislation enforcing that like the way Lotus found a way around needing a bumper.

 

This thread needed to be resurrected since the S2K has been killed off and now we're only seeing disappointing things like the CR-Z from Honda.

 

You can tell this thread is old because people still had faith in Honda. In today's world most people would expect the new s2000 to have a 130hp hybrid motor
