Default License Plate Frame

I would like to put my license plate in a frame but the frame sits on top of those 2 little nubbies at the bottom of the plate area where the plate fits behind. How would one cut about 3/8" off of those nubbies in order for the frame to sit flush against the back of that area. Then the frame would rest on top of the nubbies (poor terminology, sorry)

File, Dremel, or get a abrasive cutter that fits a std electric drill.

Sounds like some good options. Thanks. Notice you have an 04 like mine. Good choice.

Can you cut a little material away from the license plate frame, so you don't have to mess up your bumper?

I just put mine over top of the "little nubbies" and it looks just fine to me.
