Maybe you should go to driving school and summer school before getting the S2000. Also, you might want to think about a radar detecter to remind you when you are being closely observed.
You might not like this, but you are the problem, not the police. Plus, have you given any thought as to how much your insurance will be on the S after these incidents? I'm glad I'm not in your shoes. I've been driving since 1969 and have never gotten a ticket. Not that I've never been speeding. I've had the S up to 115 MPH once. Plus, I've never owned a radar detector.
It appears the police were in the right place at the right time for you. Please learn from this lesson.

To echo what Dario said: have you indeed checked what your insurance premiums will be on an S2000?
The dorm room comment leads me to believe that you're 18-22 years old and single. With the driving record you just shared with us, I'd say you're headed for some kind of state-mandated high-risk pool.
You may have to settle for the 1/24 scale S2000 for some time to come.

Man, I hate the east coast... no offense... I lost my license in upstate NY and just happened to move to CA when I received the notice and before a trial. I couldn't believe how many less speed traps there are, and how more lenient on speed (i.e. in upstate NY you better be doing no more than 10, while in CA 20 is reasonably safe IMHO).

Hi there transplanted Upstater, you are so right!
Upstate is my home and 10 over is my limit, but then again, I do three driving schools a year at The Glen so I can get most of it out of my system, but it is hard with the S!

That statement alone makes you an idiot.
I can think of many scenarios that qualify as "just being in the wrong place at the wrong time." To get caught that many times you must speed regularly if not always. Take those next four years of college to learn my friend (and I'm not talking about what is written in your text books).
Let's see.......under 20 years old, suspended license or almost already, and looking to buy a convertible performance sports car. You might as well go all the way and make it Red. I wouldn't be surprised if insurance runs you $4000 to $5000 a year and that's being conservative. Unless you have the means to pay cash for the car and avoid full coverage, but being in school that won't happen unless you have the typical rich, careless parents or are there on a sports scholarship.
Hate to tell you this, but you might want to get a beater until you wipe all your points off and stay clean for a couple years. It sucks, but you'll end up enjoying the car a lot more when you can drive it without all that financial stress and worrying about the next ticket.
