Triple-H, yeah, I can't even imagine having my S in upstate NY. I'd be in a heap of ticket trouble with it. S handles so well that I'm always having to keep a careful watch on my speed. I have a hard enough time with Cavalier rental cars when visiting family

But I have to agree going to the glen would surely help with getting some of the need for speed bug addressed.

An actually don't hate the east coast in general (a little exageration). Just how strict the traffic laws are. I was really amazed at how things are in CA. Honestly, I don't think that it's any less safe because of that in CA.

Strike, Gdonahue, do you know me personally?? No i dont believe you do so please dont judge me...Im regreting putting up this post because I can see many people on this forum are so high on themselves and forgot how to be humane. I am 19...this is a fact, yes i got tickets, yes i drive slower, hence i learned my lesson...incase you did not read that part...I never thought of myself as a 'fast' driver i just think a lot of other people get away with A LOT more then i do, check the Street encounters forum and go tell them to slow down as well....jeez....Im sure you guys learned your lesson back in the 80's but im still coping with my tickets....You say i whine about cops?? I really dont, they are out there doing there jobs, and as i said before i do understand what i have done as well as what i am doing...so maybe im 10 years ahead of the game.....kinda hypocritcal of you to bash me for 3 tickets when you got 2 in 30 min...dont you think??

Sorry Roku but I stand by that description. We'll just have to agree to disagree. It's all the more frustrating when someone like cyman33 gets the impression from the "fringe idiot element" here that we're all like that

cyman33, I'm not understanding why you are getting so defensive and telling people not to judge you because they weren't there when you got the tickets or they don't know you.

You stated pretty clearly that you got some tickets, are in danger of losing your license, and have now slowed down when you drive as a result. Doesn't this imply that you were in actuality speeding when you got the tickets? Otherwise, why slow down now if you have been going the speed limit all along? This is why people have assumed that this isn't a "wrong place, wrong time" type of thing.

So, is that correct? Or are you now saying that you did not speed and therefore do not deserve your tickets?

You did deserve what came to you. You broke the law (speeding) and you got caught.
