life without S2000
I was just thinking....
How would be a life without/not having S2000?
After so many years of owning one I realized that having one VS not having one it really does make a difference, at least for me.
If I do not have one in the garage I feel like empty like something is missing.
The S becomes part of your life, u almost plan your day around her.
I cannot see myself without one.
Imagine one day you open ur garage and instead of the S you find a miserable, modest car NO VTEC NO 8/9K, just a flat boring car.
You guys think about it....
S forever

There's really no words to describe it. Even though it is just a car, in an unexplainable, and probably sad pathetic way, it's more than that. But I love it's rarity and how unique it is. I'll try and own it forever, even when it's time to get that Porsche
keep up the love my friend!

I think I'd be fine with a Boxster S or even a normal Boxster. Hell I coulc probably work with a nice MX5 -- but I MUCH prefer the S. One feature of the S that I REALLY like is the generous trunk space. It allows two people to travel nicely for extended periods.

Discovering a product that just bowls you over with its design, elegance and functionality is always exciting. It could be a coffee maker or a vacuum cleaner or a car. When the product is in your price range you gotta have it. I think a lot of us feel that exhilaration with the S. For me it is similar to getting my first car. Immature? Maybe. Just seeing it in the garage, just sitting in it touching the wheel, dash and seats. I'm glad I haven't grown up. I own something that is just about best in class. Praise Honda for creating something this special that the working man can attain.
1. My other car is a Corolla also.
2. I have never spent much on a car for most of my life; my buying a new 05 Corolla was my idea of splurging, that's how boring I am.
3. I waited 20 yrs. to buy a Miata, my dream car, b/c I like small (loved my restored 79 MG that I had for 3 yrs.), and got to be a convertible, and one spring brk I had 20 Miatas lined up from a new left over model, to one with a turbo, but when I found out they made a retractable in 06 I had to have one, and didn't want to spend that much at the time.
4. Someone put me on the the S (I thought they were too expensive for me, in 2010), and I tried to buy a couple for $10k with 90-100k miles on them, but always too late.
5. Found an AP1 for $13.5 with 39k miles I was going to buy, but then found an 04 with 8745 miles on it, and I freaked out and paid $18,455 for it, and have been happy ever since; it's a daily driver for me here in Indy.
6. I went back months later, and 3 yrs. later and drove the Miata, and it would not do now that I'm used to Vtec.
7. As my son said when he was looking for a car, "Dad, it's just like the Miata w/o Vtec!" However technically wrong he was, he was conceptually correct.
8. I still wouldn't mind owning one, but not while the S lives in my garage.
9. Of course, I like about every car; I test drove a VW bug convertible just for fun once while waiting for another to available: 200 hp and 200 torque; I loved it. I hope my kids buy it for a birthday present when I retire, ha!
