For those of you out there who expressed an intrest in having one of these (which we in Europe use as a fog Light)the following information may be of use.
1/The bottom black section where the lamp goes is all part of the rear bumper, you will have to either replace the bumper or cut a peice out of your existing one to accomodate the lamp.
2/Mount the lamp unit complete with wire and male electrical plug into the bumper, locating the female electrical conector which will be found by your existing wireing loom.(plug together if you want to use the lamp, or leave it unplugged just to look pretty)
3/A Honda switch can be mounted on the dash where the spare blanking plug is situated, wires again are at the back of the dash, just need locating.
Note.If you have a bit of electrical knowledge you can wire it up seperatly anyway you want(4th brake light? 3rd rear light? whatever, but check your legislation)
Honda part numbers, Bumper 71501-S2AGOOZZ
Lamp unit 34401-S2A-GO1
Switch Assy 35170-S2A-GO1
Cost,I can only quote the UK prices, these are for the parts alone: Bumper

Biker1...thanks for the info. I would like to add that mod, but not for that much hassle. Oh well, I'll just have to admire yours!

Thanks for the info biker1.....I'm sure that if one person does the mod (maybe me), others will follow - like the S2000 sheep that we are.

It looks cool to have, wonder if it would look ugly on my rear bumper though. Time for photoshop.

Just a few questions...

1. Does the lamp unit come with all the necessary wiring to connect from the lamp all the way to the interior?

2. Is the switch assembly the actual switch you would place in the interior? Is this piece the rocker switch that goes to the left of the steering wheel on Euro cars?

3. What about the lamp bulb and the fuse? Do we need these as well?

Thanks.
