Hey Del Sol VTEC, I just discovered this great new service called Yahoo. All you do is type what you want, like 'Vector Supercar' and hey presto

I highly doubt that the s2k has anywhere the performance or handling capability of an F-16
Are you telling me the S2000 can't do a 9g turn, I'm so disappointed.

Um, the only way a Marine pilot will fly an F16 is if the Air Force is kind enough to loan it to him
The Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, have pilot exchange programs, were they learn to fly the others aircraft. Also I believe the Marines have F-16 of their on that they fly as aggressors for training.

I've had my pilot's license for about 3 years now, and flying any general aviation aircraft feels nothing like a s2000. The only similiarity I could see is the cockpit feel of an advanced fighter jet which is small and tight compared to the instrument panels on any general aviation aircraft.

I'm an ex Air Force pilot and flew supersonic aircraft. Actually The S2000 VTECing is a very similar feeling to using the afterburner. Both have the same visceral feeling. But you can't pull 8 G's in an S2000. Much lower maintenance cost though.

How 'bout the A-4 skyhawk? Small and nimble.

S. Honda was inspired by the F-16 when he gave the OK to start design of the NSX. The roof line and gold tint glass was a take off of the F-16 canopy. The short hood long rear deck was also inspired by that fighting falcon. So was the concept, light-weight high performance, a single engine fighter which could out maneuver, out climb and out accelerate larger fighters wth twice as many engines.
