Default Listen to this!

Hey guys i just joined a few day ago. I bought my s2000 17 days ago. My first cas was a 1999 Honda prelude... i still have it. I have wanted an s2000 for over a year now and i finally bought one. I bought it cash for 16,000 it was the happiest day of my life. Its a 2004. Its sebring silver and has 18 inch gun metal black rims. The car is beautiful.... more than i could ever have asked for.

So today i went down the street to the local petsmart. My girlfriend works there.... while i was inside i herd them call over the intercom that who ever is driving a HONDA S2000 please go outside. As soon as i herd that my heart dropped. I walked outside and saw thta a older man driving an 1997 F150 accidentally hit the gas pedal went over the planter knocked over a tree and slammed into the front end of my car and smashed up everything.
The light is smashed. The side fender is smashed and also has puncture marks and not only that my hood is smashed as well. The fender is leaning agaisnt the tire. When the police backed the guys truck (it was basically on my car) it pulled half my bottom bumper off.
The police checked to see if he was drunk. They concluded that he had alcohol on his breath but passed all the tests and said that alcolhol was not the cause of the accident.
I haven't even had the car for three weeks. and this happens how unlucky. ('')

Man... I hate reading stuff like this. It breaks my heart to hear a fellow s2ki member car get into a situation like this. I hope everything is in your favor. Sorry to hear about this tragedy. I would cry too!

Prelude owners have had a string of bad luck moving on to S2000s.

Sucks to hear for the OP, though.

Never good news.

Sorry to hear your new s2k was crushed by someone who can't even keep track of two pedals. Hope insurance covers everything in full. Keep us posted man.

Really sucks bro!!
I would push to get it totaled so you can buy another one in accident free form and start fresh.
Best of luck and welcome to the board!

That stinks dude, I was rear-ended the day I bought my s2000 at the very first stop light I pulled up to after paying the seller and receiving the title. Fortunately, I just needed a new rear bumper. Hope everything works out for you.
