It's not a button...More of a knob that you carn turn 45 degrees.

no, its not a knob. its not a toggle switch, it has the same action as a mouse button, and is about the size of a pencil eraser. It doesn't click on and off, but, like i just said, like a mouse. Clicky Clicky.

I agree that it should have something to do with the alarm. It makes sense, since if you dont have the factory alarm, you wont have the button. Thats why most people dont have it.

I just dont have the valet key to test it.
