It's the disarm switch for the factory alarm.

The manual (with the Honda alarm) says if you open the door with the valet key you have 20 seconds or so to hit this button to stop the alarm from going off. I have never used my valet key. I'll tell you what I still have not figured out the alarm. If you let the car lock itself and you unlock with the key you have 20 seconds to get in and put your key into the ignition, which disarms, and the little black button doesn't do squat. If you arm the alarm with the key fob thingy, and try to put you key into the door and unlock the alarm goes off right away. Aah hell I just leave the keys in it all the time and then I don't worry about how the alarm works
