a little help please
I just bought the 05. Needless to say the car is a thrill. And I found this website and trying to follow some of the tricks.
I've already cut the red/white wire from the KEM. It now allows me to unlock passenger door when the key is in the ignition. Now I want to cut the yellow wire. But there are like 4 yellow wires on the plug. By reading what some wrote, I figured I should be cutting the Yellow/Green striped wire. Am I correct? Please enlighten. Thanks so much.

I took keyless module out and removed the 10mm bolt. I then pulled apart the connector to try and pull the wires out instead of cutting them. It took a while to figure it out, but if you push on the wire from behind the harness (there is a little play), and insert a paper clip from the front, you can push the little pastic tab in and pull the wire out from behind. The trick being - to push on the wire from behind the same time you are using the paper-clip.
I got the red/wire out like you said. Put the key back in the ignition and the remote worked the doors/trunk. I then turned the key ON, and then it didn't work.
I read how you said the yellow wire was ignition power, so I knew I had to get rid of that one next. There were actually TWO yellow wires. One was at the far right and the other one near the end of the other side, about two pins from the last. That is the one that worked. The yellow one to the far right disabled the parking lights from blinking (I tested it with remote), so I knew it was the other one. I took that yellow wire out, and then the remote worked the doors and/trunk when the key was in the ignition and when the car was running. Sweet!

By reading what you wrote.
If you know who "you" is, this isn't the best way to get him to answer. You should PM him with these questions.
