Default A Little Shook (Acciendet)

Well in less than 24 hours I was able to damage my "new" used 2002 s2k

Went into a corner to fast, slid, and lost control.

Damage is not that extensive, small dent in the passenger wheel well and broke the front passenger knuckle.

I got all the parts to replace the suspension side, but now I need help as the force enough was to deploy the airbags.

I did as much researching as possible and found other threads but most answers were left to open intrepetation.

1st what all goes into replacing the airbags/systems after they delpoyed? The bags themselves and srs unit? is that it?

Did you not report it to insurance? I'm surprised that they didn't total it out. My brother wrecked his rsx a few weeks ago, airbags deployed and he just replaced them, although Idk if he replaced the srs unit as well.

I was thinking the same thing...

I have read about 15 different threads on this, how fast are you guys taking corners? I think I hit one going close to 30 and the car didn't slide, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to go that fast on a turn anyways. You know Tokyo Drift was a (bad) movie? I guess luckily I read the forums and knew what a RWD car was capable of before I bought it

I'm glad I learned to drive with a 4000lb car from the 60s with drum brakes, skinny tires, RWD, tons of torque, 2-3 ft longer and 1-2 ft wider than most new cars...
