The long ride
Good day all ,
well it has been aprox 4 months since I've been hanging around this site and I just came home with a 03 s2000 .silverstone metallic /blk .I've been keeping my mouth closed and learning all i can .
I traded in a 2001 miata with a susp pkg and lots of mods I did both to the engine and the interior . 26,000 miles on her all fun and trouble free.
In reading many reviews on the s2000 many give the miata
a positive mention re handling and power below v tech .
I'm 48 and have had a 1990 miata in 1990 ,3 nissian z cars a 1981,1984,and the last year the made one ,also a 1987 rx7 gxl and a 944.that is it on the 2 seaters also had 1984 interga honda prelude,accord and present 1999 crv the wife and a s2000 with 31 miles i just put on it .
I have stayed below 6000 rpm and will do so according to the book .
I'm in this car for the long ride as I just bought a house and have to be cool kinda .I love the car and miss the miata as well yet I'm sure that will change as I get to know my s2000
So as I told my wife I do not plan on doing many mods yet i said that with the miata and that car had roll bar, headers ,exhaust, a cai, toyo t1 s proxys and cosmetic mods when i traded it in .also i have all aftermarket stuff sent to the job not to the house my boss is very understanding .
So hi to all it has been raining here in nyc for 3 weeks now and it sucks but downstairs in the gargage is my new s2000.
i went down there to look at it just before it looked good .
