I found the comfort level to be pretty fair in the S2000. I had a stiff lower back (inevitable) but other than that the seats gave me adequate support. My build is about 5'10" and 165 lbs. and I find those seats to be rather accommodating for my arse.

Well it looks like the verdict is that my long distance driving is not harming my S2000 besides adding some extra mileage.

This of course makes me do this --->

I've driven some 2000 mile round trips but there is a long term problem involved.

If you were to take a more appropriate road for and S2000, like Highway 1, you could experience more rapid tire wear.

No problem after 1100 miles to Dragonball 2001 and back. The S is actually quite comfortable on the highway (as long as you can blast around the slower moving traffic ) Just remember NOT to sit on your wallet, throw it in the secret compartment!

Mark - According to maps.expedia.com, Asheville to Houston is exactly 1000 miles and they suggest it takes 16 hours at legal speeds. Your 11.75 hours equal an average of 85mph.

Given that you would have had to stop for gas twice (say, 15 minutes each time), that would almost 89mph average.

All of which goes to say - next time you take a road trip, give me a call!
