Hi, this question has always been in my mind...

What are your plans for your S2000? Meaning, do you plan to keep it for a long time...7-10 years? Or do you plan to keep it for 2-3 years? Or somewhere in the middle? I see a lot of people doing some "premium" and expensive aftermarket modification to their S2000. So I was wonder if these people actually plan to own their S2000 for 10 years?

I plan to actually trade in my car every 2 years and drive a new one, so any aftermarket modifications for me would be a loss in trade in.

Or are you people just plain rich????

Take Care.

P.S. Just noticed its S200 on the subject line. Its suppose to be S2000.

I'm with Rick. I waited a long time to achieve my dream of owning a 2-seat roadster sports car. I went through mini-vans and sedans when they made more sense for hauling the family around.

Now I have my S2K and I intend to be driving and maintaining it for many years.

I'm with Rick and KMCC. I plan to keep the S2000 at least another 20 or 30 years. My kids are already arguing with each other about who will inherit it. I keep telling them that none of them are worthy.

I plan to keep it for about 5 years. I feel that by then there will be more interesting cars to drive or just purchase a new S2K.

I had a roadster back in '71 (Datsun 2000) and sold it in '72 when I got ordered to Alaska--figured it wouldn't be a very good car for the snow and lack of roads. I should've kept it. I will keep my S2000. I join the choir above. I wish I could get a new car every two years, but can't afford to. That's one of the reasons I bought a Honda--it should last a good long time.

I'm going to see how many miles I can put on this little jewel. I've set up progressive goals for myself. 1st goal - 100,000.....2nd goal - 200,000.....etc.
