I'm keeping it forever. I want to be a collector of great cars and this is #1 for me. Once this is paid off I'm going for an M3.
I want to own about 10 really nice cars by the time I croak.

The S2000 is my fourth Honda in 25 years, so I averaged 8 years with my previous two
Civics and Accord. I keep my Hondas for awhile.
I've got the extended warranty with 7-year/100,000 miles, but I can tell that the
100,000 miles will definitely come first!
I will be buying another Honda later this fall as my daily driver, that way my precious s
will get a rest every now and then.
Since I don't have kids, I'm gonna locate a huge burial plot and they're gonna
have to bury me and my S2000 together. Strapped in, with orange/red bars painted
up to 9,000 RPM. I'm going out in style, baby.

I plan on keeping her for a long time.
However, I can't say that those plans are too realistic given: (a) my undying thirst for new cars and (b) my future probability of having little Hapa's running around.
We'll see. I could see keeping this car for a very long time. I'd love to keep her as a perminent weekend warrior and just leave her covered in the garage until those special occassions.

Right now I have the S as my fair weather car and a '87 Volvo 760 as my beater. Thinking about getting rid of the 760 and getting a used Volvo convertable and making the S my weekend fun ride. If so I will be keeping it for a long time.

Not too long ago, I saw a CHERRY Jaguar roadster -- had to be at least 45 years old. Looked awesome. Shiny red and tan; gleaming white sidewalls.
I want that to be me someday! I'm keeping this car forever.
