I, too, have always had a dream of owning a true roadster and now that I have one, I plan on keeping it for a very long time.

5 years. Something new and interesting will come along in that time. No, I'm not rich.

As long as the road holds out (or the car dies, whichever comes first...)

long term: keep her in the best shape possible and get a beater car to help out. I'll keep her till I have a good enough reason to give her up. This might be a condo or a M3

I plan on keeping it for a long time. Right now it's an everday driver but I plan on tapering that down in a year or two to prolong it's life. Even when it dies, I'd like to rebuild it and make it all new again! Time will tell...

It seems I always have the intention of keeping my cars for a long time, but it seems something new and exciting comes along that I start saving for. Ill honestly probably keep my 2000 s2000 another 2 yrs. That said, I have had my Toyota pickup with close to 200k on it for 10 yrs!

I had my CRX Si for 13 years so I may keep it that long if it survives and if I am still employed. I am going to enjoy it as long as I can.

Well she is not costing me much $35 mo. insurance, $20 mo in gas, and an oil change here and ther. I expect to see her with antique plates in 22 more years. But, if I had the chance to trade for a white S, I do it.
