Longest Road Trip in your S2000?
Lets hear about your trips-
What's the farthest you've gone on a "continuous" road trip?
I had a great trip this past winter, I escaped Maine's and went around the country.
Here's my 27 day (not all were driving days) 7,150 mile route, everything past Dallas was impromptu:

This past winter was my first road trip in my S.
I drove from Eastern LI, NY, straight down 19hrs to Orlando Florida. Stopping only for gas, food and the bathroom.
Spent a week with friends in Orlando, then drove 8hrs down to Key West. Spent 6 weeks in Key West with my Aunt.
From Key West I drove back up Florida 13 hrs over to Panama City Beach to visit my Grandparents for 2 weeks.
Then from there I drove 20hrs back home to NY.
Id say in all about 3700 Miles.
I was amazed how comfortable the car is on long drives.
And I also got pretty good gas mileage too.

Longest I've driven in the S was St. Louis to Kansas City (through Sedalia and Warrensburg) which is about 4.5 hours or 300 miles of straight highway each way. It was miserable with my Invidia N1. Worst part was my phone broke the day before so I couldn't listen to music on my noise cancelling headphones and I forgot earplugs.
I have the HKS Silent Hi Power and once or twice during my trip I was a bit irritated by it, but I have wind noise whenever I can and usually the stereo going. I have been known to top down in maine winters (so long as it's not snowing). But I hear yah, it can be super headache inducing droney noise. The HKS isn't too bad, sometimes I drive one gear higher than I normally would just to change the noise.
As for comfort, I'm a smaller dude so the car has plenty of room for me. My back was a little sore after the first 14 hours but after day three, four, eight, twelve I had no issues.
I spent one night sleeping in the passenger seat because I was so close to my destination but couldn't continue driving safely and too cheap to buy a hotel for a few hours. It was terrifically miserable. It was a contortion act to get even remotely comfortable. Good times.
Best MPG I clocked was 29.8. Couldn't break 30 for the life of me. Different tire PSI and adjusted driving habits probably could have seen me over 30 but oh well.
Couple low quality pics from a gif I made:
Departure:

First gas fill:

When I hit the Carolinas the top came down finally (Had so much stuff in the car wasn't sure I could go top down but did some reorganizing:

1,700 miles later

I did not fully escape nasty weather

Thanks dude

Oh great, snow

Getting out of the snow

West coasting

Reunited with one of my best friends in Oregon

Coming back was difficult

After miles of nothing found this (I checked to make sure no one was inside)

End of trip

My 2k made it out alive, but still received lots of little chips to the bumper despite the tape. I do think the tape helped though, unquestionably. I re-taped mid trip as well. Were I doing it again I'd have taped the side mirrors and the lower portions of the fenders as they also received some chips. Worth the memories though.

I'm picking up an S2000 from a friend in Kentucky and driving it to California in two weeks. It'll be the fourth time I've driven across the country, but the first time in something smaller than a Toyota boat. It should be a good bonding experience.
Can't beat any of you guys but I drove to pick up my car in Carrollton, GA and drove it back to Louisiana. Then we went to a friend's house for a wedding the next day. Approximately 600 miles in one day. Total trip was about 1100 miles in two days. Best part was driving with the top down. Avg with top up - 30 mpg. Avg with top down - 24.
