So far, the longest road trip in the S has been the 12hr Key West to Tallahassee a few times, once being immediately after a 16hr work day.

Longest straight is probably Key West to Chicago and back, MANY times, but never in the S. Would like to take it to the west coast though

 

I found this story on the web. I don't think I'll have the time or money for a trip like this for a long time, but I can dream. I'll probably end up doing parts similar to this in upcoming years. There's a special joy that comes from traveling in a roadster, instead of a cushy ride in a sedan or SUV.

I drove a roadster from north of Seattle to Phoenix, but the odometer wasn't working, so I didn't log mileage. Luckily, it made it to, or close to each of my stops along the way. The old jalopy broke down every day, which made for an adventurous trip.

The guy is this link sure had a good time overall, in my opinion. I'd love to do something like this someday.
