look what i got today! (pic)
i got yelled at from demonderrick for getting 205/ 50 and 255/ 40.
i am very ignorant as far as wheels and tyre size goes,
so i was doing a search, and about three people mentioned,
"oh! ce27ns! those are perfect for 205/ 50 and 255/ 40"!
so i got those.
i don't know, if it's really perfect, good for me, but if they are bad, i guess i can return it before i get my car back.

about half way through, RT mentions that ce28ns works perfect with 205s, and people seem to agree with him.

The idea is that 205 front 255 rear maintains about the same stagger proportion as the stock tires: 25% more rubber to the road in the back. A bigger tire up front will increase oversteer.
The counter-argument is that a) you can never have too much traction, and b) some people experience understeer, so since a bigger tire will fit up front, do it.
So the choice depends on which way you want to influence the handling on the oversteer - understeer continuum.
I'm thinking of getting a set of Toya RA-1s in 235/45 front 255/40 rear for the summer, then switching to SO-3s when the rain starts or the RA-1 wear out.
