Looking to buy an Apex Blue CR
Good morning S2ki peeps. I have had a great experience so far owning a Laguna Blue S2000. I bought my car pretty much sight unseen from a guy in Texas in November 2011. The seller picked me up from the airport in Dallas, we did a 5 minute look over / walkaround, and then I gave him the bank check and dropped him off at this house and continued home to south Florida. Well, here we are 8 years later, and I think the S2000 is just the best engineered sports car ever produced.
That said, I have always had a soft spot for the Apex Blue CR model. I found one for sale (sort of / maybe) a few hours from home and went to look at it yesterday. The car was really clean, but the negatives were that it had rolled fenders, one replacement front fender panel, and clamp marks on the pinch welds. I made an offer anyway, and the seller basically said the offer was good, but he wasn't sure he wanted to sell. Seeing the car in person really solidified my desire to get one of these rare cars. While I was a little disappointed, this turn of events brought me to this idea.
I am looking to buy an Apex Blue CR with maybe between 30-75k miles in original condition and have a budget of $35-40k. If you have one and would consider selling to me, please reach out via PM, or post some contact info. If you happen to know someone selling one, I will pay a $1,000 finder's fee to the person who gets me in touch with the seller.
I plan on keeping an eye on the regular places (BaT, Cars.com, Autotrader, Searchtempest, Cargurus). Although I have a great S2000, I am not looking for a complicated deal with trades, or any funny financing.

Lastly, I know of an Apex Blue Pearl CR in SoCal, but it appears to have been sold to make way for a Supra. This was @blueprint's old CR. Contact the seller, whom I have linked below, and see if he will put you in touch with the new owner. He/she might be interested in reselling the car. Good luck with your hunt!
