looking to buy a cf hood but have questions.
im very picky about cf hoods. i want to buy one that is 700 at most or less. but i want somthing with great fitment. and weave. also with uv clear coat. im leaning towards oem style. what comanies make the hoods were they wrap the cf to the underside? i think those would be stonger and wont come apart. ive tried to search but cant find what im looking for. so if anyone one could help i really appreciate it. thanks.

if u want a jdm hood, its going to cost you alot more then 1000 but it would meet your needs. if you plan on getting an oem style hood, you should get the evasive oem cf hood. fitment is perfect, weave is perfect, and the weave is a tight 1x1 weave found mostly in jdm hoods. also the price is unbeatable at 319. def way better quality then all the other imitation hoods ive seen at $500+.

Stay away from Siebon!
At first I was like WOW.....
Then I was like WTF with the weave problems and inconsistencies
Then I was like WOW with the high gloss and fitment....
Now I'm back to WTF with the clear coat.... I've had my second hood now for about 6 months and it's already turned yellow to some degree.... It's not noticable under direct sunlight but it is noticable under overcast lighting.
Bottom line for this current point in time is I will not buy Seibon products anymore.
Although they provide CF replicas for basically a fraction of the authentic JDM cost... If I could do it over again, I would have just bought the authentic J's type V and cut the bullshit...
I would move to go with Evasive motorsports...

if you want an oem style cf hood then go with the evasive oem cf hood. i have seen it on krazydave's car and it fits just like OEM and looks great too and is well within your budget.
