Do you mean a "CF" (carbon fiber) hood.

These hoods are nothing but flashy even with the OEM style.

How about for performance/cooling (for the vented hoods) or to fit your aftermarket intake?

Mugen, Amuse/Jays and others make good CF hoods.

i wouldn't buy an oem style cf hood.. not worth it.... some are even heavier then your stock hood... ... if you get one you should get one with some vents.. it'll help release heat from your engine bay... you can also get them painted to match your car so they won't be as flashy...

Actually in almost all instances a carbon fiber hood will weigh more than the stock aluminum hood. The aluminum hood from the factory weighs a mere 13lbs. When removed from the car, you can pick the stock hood up off the ground using just your pinky.

Most of the carbon fiber hoods for our car are 20% heavier than stock. The only construction that would be of any weight benefit are the dry carbon fiber hoods with out ribbing. Pretty much a sheet of carbon fiber secured with hood pins. The weight savings is a whopping one to four pounds. Which makes a difference, but certainly not a difference remotely worth the expense. There are 300lbs of weight in our car that can be easily removed free of charge. This is a far better option than paying $500+ dollars per pound removed. That and you still need to paint the part to keep from looking like a knuckle-dragging buffoon.
