C'mon Rich, you can make me a better deal on that header can't you?

i wonder if they were able to hook up the 2002 defroster switch, i'm thinking of retrofitting the switch to the hardtop, instead of using the button by the cup holder, but i would need to hook up a whole new wiring harness to the dash, which costs $260.00 and $40.00 for the switch, and it would suck if the plugs don't fit the existing dash plugs, does anyone have any idea if it woud work?

Seems to be cheaper to trade in a '00 or '01 for the new '02. . .most folks may lose around $3k. . .seems worth it for a new S2000!

Depending on what state you live in, the cost of tax, title and license on a new car alone will cost what this conversion costs. Add many thousands on for depreciation and there is no doubt in mind that the upgrade is cheaper.

they did mention the defroster, and it's available separately - on that website.

I'm sorry, I know these kind of decisions are purely subjective and personal choice, but I am floored that someone would pay $1,800 to look through a glass back window as opposed to the plastic one. Which, to me, after a good spray and wipe looks pretty darn clear.

$1800 is af a new set of 17" GT1 SSR wheels and Kumho tires.

I guess it is what makes the world go round.

I haven't read all of the posts regarding this subject... but for the unethical viewers of this board can you just magically get your soft top slashed and replace it with the new one with the glass window?

(I hope there are no insurance people reading this!) My top is always down so I don't even care... I am just speaking hypothetically.
