Thanks for the redirection on the thread. Sounds interesting. Now let's see how many of us go for it.

they didn't say anything about the process: it's a shop, it's not going to share that over the net.
That is very possible to do via just about any alarm! Its worked with a window roll up/roll down kit. If you guys have an alarm with a extra output or 2 you can do it. Though you need an output for top up and another one for top down.........as well as one for Trunk pop.

There are others that have gone overboard to pop the fuel tank, pop hood as well as eventually somebody is gonna shave the door handles and put in door poppers.(window roll up/down is a of course.

The only problem is that if you want top up it wont latch and the windows will be down! So you gotta have a roll up/down top up and down outputs!!!!(thats 4 plus the trunk!)

I thought about doing top down on my car but with me having to put a thingie in the rear window I didn't do it. If I had a glass rear window it would be a must! I would only do top down and just leave it unlatched.

The conversion cannot be done. After many, many calls to Honda America as well as 15 dealerships in NJ, the word is that it cannot be done......yet.

I had my entire top replaced in February b/c of some idiot who ruined it.....long story....I was told that it cannot be done unless the ENTIRE top (frame and all) is replaced.
