Default Loose passenger mirror.

The glass itself isn't loose, but the whole thing. It was fine when i put the mirror bra on it and later took it off, but now it is moves a bit. Can i fix this myself? I REALLY don't like talking to dealers.

Hey, we need a fix-it/maintenance section on the forum!

On my last S, 2 of the bolts (there are 3) that hold the mirror to the door sheared off. You can get to them by taking the door panel off with the window up. I bought a new mirror, however it looks like the bolts can be replaced (if that is the problem).

Sounds great. Will that require taking off the white covering under the door? That thing has some nasty goo on it

Yeah, unfortunately you have to peal some of that off to get a look...and it IS sticky stuff. Also, if the bolts are sheared off like mine were, they will be laying in the bottom of the door panel.
