Thanks

The only reason im thinking that your car doesnt start with the valet key is...
the previous owner lost the original keys, and was too cheap to buy a new set. He used the old key and recoded the ignition and didnt recode the valet key so that anyone who found the lost key couldnt use it anymore. In this case, you would probably be required to buy a new ignition system and get all brand new keys.

I have a friend that bought a used Saab that had this problem. He had to take the car to a Saab dealer and they had to pull the ignition switch to get #s to make a set of keys that matched. Your S just might have to be towed to the dealer.

No need to TOW the car. You have a key that turns the ignition if its a case of not being coded correctly you can get the brake bypass code from a dealer to start the car. Drive it up there and then have the key programmed. Do what Jeff told you and you should have if figured out.

My girlfriend through my keys in a lake, and i had to get my car towed to Honda. They said they could not program a key without another key(with the chip in it), or the car being present. They can make you a key with the VIN # but all it will do is unlock the doors, not start the car.
By the way PUSH STARTING WILL NOT WORK, if the chipped key is not present in the vehicle the engine will get no fuel. So push starting wont do anything. Best thing to do it tow it to honda and they will make you a new key.

supwithyou,
First I wanna say... Dang... that's one mean girl you got there, what did you do to her? Anyways.....
My last resort is to tow it to the honda dealer. I've been told by Jeff (A Honda Pro) that you can bypass the immobilizer system so you can start the car without the chip. You can use the regular copied key. If that doesn't work than I have no choice but to take it to the dealer. How much did they charge you for that new key?
Thanks for you help
