Default lotus elise

Hey guys my s2000 is in the shop. So I rented a lotus to drive for 3 days. Man the fit and finish of the lotus is crap. But the things you can do in that car is mind blowing!!! I took it up angeles crest highway and was chasing down bikes!!! A cbr 600 rr had to get out of my way!!! it was sweet. I can only hope to mod my s2000 so it can handle close to the lotus.

Cheaper to just buy an Elise, actually.

You can. At least, I have. I rented an Exige for a session on the track. Not cheap -- it was $200 for 30 minutes. Fun enough to make it worth it, however.

Chasing down bikes?!?

While fast, the Elise won't catch a bike unless it wants to be caught.

I'm sure an Elise can chase down a bike on curvy roads. Bikes are muuuch slower in corners (esp compared to an Elise). There was a piece on Top Gear at some point where a Carrera4 beat a bike around a race track.

Ya this finish on the lotus's arent very nice, but then again they are designed pretty much for the track with street driving in mind. I would love the chance to drive one for awhile.

Find a road with tight enough turns, and you can chase down bikes in the S.

Don't forget that in the corners 4 > 2.

I've chased down bikes in malibu, right after the rock store. I think we all know that stretch is all ours.
