Well, i do have good student discount, am in school full time (obviously), still live at home, and the car is registered under my dads name, with me as the primary driver.

Maveric,
BTW, how can you afford a S2K in college? I was barely able to buy a bike...

To answer your question, I'm able to afford it because of what Drexel is known for...Paid Coop Internship programs...4 months out of each school year instead of attending classes we work for companies in the city and get paid...And paid rather well to be honest...I agree with you though, insurance payments can even come to more then the car payment itself...Its a tradgedy

I'm 22 and have 2 tickets within the past 3 years. (2 minor) with no accidents or claims. My cheapest quote (cause im shopping around right now) is 5400 Canadian a year (yes its under my name). thats like 480 something a month. During the winter storage fire and theft only is 19.20 a month So pretty much for only 6 months of driving, i gotta pay 2700 Canadian a year. I'm not settling though. I'll find better
