IDo you think a lower mileage 2002 model (7K) is a better buy than a higher mileage 03 (25-30K)? Both have roughly the same price

But does mileage take precedence over year during the 01-03 model years?

Because the 02 & 03 models are nearly identical I'd say go for the lower mileage car.

 

Yup, me too. I'd take low mileage over newer model year unless there are other significant differences between the cars.

 

Definately get the 02, its the same car as the 03 and obviously has been used much less.
