Default Used car question

Do you think year of the car is more important than the mileage assuming both cars are great condition?

For example, 02 with 60k miles and 00 with 30k miles. Let's assume they are both in great condition and same price. What would you pick?

This is not about 00 model is better than 02 model, or 02 model is better than 00 model. Just want to find out if the year > mileage when you are shopping for used S2000 or any other model.

Before negotiating a price I would determine which Model year I prefer. sounds like you are baseing your decision on what's a "good deal"

The difference between 00 and 02 is substantial to some an obsolete to others.

I own an 04 and knew going in that I wanted and 04 and above.

All things being equal I would get the 02.... glass rear view window and less TSB's to research.
