Default Lowered Seat Brackets

My seats, rails, and belts got ripped off so I need to get new rails, and was thinking of getting some of the "low down" or "lowered" seat brackets to replace them, at least for the driver's side.

I'm 6'2 and most of my height is in my upper body; I have a hard time seeing traffic lights when I'm stopped because my eyes are about level with the bottom of the visor, so I either have to crouch a bit to see it, or if the top's down, look over the windshield... haha. That, and my roommate and ex gf both told me that I look like I'm driving a gokart when I have the top down

Does anyone who has a similar problem have a set of them, and if so, was it easier to see at stoplights after you had them installed? Sounds ridiculous, I know... haha.

I'm 6'2", I have them on the drivers side, and I love it. Best mod for the tall person. I fit sooooo much better and I've spent the entire day in the car and am comforatable.
Mine are Backyard specialties model.
Get em. You'l love it.
Oh, sorry about your seats and thieves. I'd like us to instead of dropping bombs on our enemies, we should just drop our thieves from 30,000ft.

Feel your pain - I'm 6' even, mostly in the body,

I purchased a set of Backyard Special Rails from Bulletproof Automotive. I just got them - haven't had a chance to do the install yet.

I sat in an AP1 that had the BYS rail installed last week, and it's a noticeable difference...well worth the coin. If you do a search for "Backyard Special," you'll find lots of favorable comments.

Nice, thanks for the feedback, guys! I have to buy new rails anyway so I guess it can't hurt, right?

I've got the BS rails on my driver side. Makes it easier to fold myself under the steering wheel when I enter. Expensive but two thumbs up from me!
