Default Lowered stock seat mod done

It was very easy to do, and yes I cut my hand on that sheet metal. The only bitch was the allignment on the re-install in the seat, it took some love'n to get in. I cut the foam on the buldge where the pan dips down and I like it. Only gripe is no thigh support, the front end is low low low.

It took about 20 mins to get the seat out and apart, and about 20 mins to drill and bend, and about 30 mins after the jb weld dried to get it all back together and in
Matt.

Cool. Any pics? I think this might be on the To-Do list for me.

That's funny! I've thought about raising my seat! How hard would that be?

DJ Qube,
do a search on raising the seat. I did mine a year ago and posted how I did it.
I installed Steel spacers and a longer bolts. Turned out great.

so you have to weld? I thought there was just some drilling involved? I am thinking of doing this myself....sounds and looks like it's not too bad. However, if welding is involved, I'm out. Speaking of thigh support, MOMO and I believe some other seat makers have produced thigh supports....they work.

You could weld, but he was referring to JB Weld. It's basically glue.
