Tein & Eibach has springs that lowers around 1 inch and I think you only need spacers if your car is lowered more than 1 inch.

Alignment suggests after lowering?

Are there springs that lower 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch. My driveway is a biznitch.

I have Ground Control coilover and they can be adjusted to any height you want.

Alignment- I went with the UK settings.

The Eibach Pro Kit is tuned for the earlier cars, so they'll change your cars handling bias a little. If you like the handling of the earlier cars (MY00-01) then you might like the difference, but maybe not. It's not really a matter of better or worse as it is merely different (a little more oversteer).

After lowering, start with the UK specs, and if that's not just right for your driving style and venues, then work from there. Further tweaking is probably a waste of time if you don't autocross or track the car, but even with the stock springs you need to tweak the alighnemt to get the most out of the car on track or autoX.

Carrera4, I believe I recall seeing a thread somewhere where someone had springs that only dropped the car a half or 3/4 of an inch, but I can't remember the details. FWIW, I don't think an extra quarter inch of clearance will help much. Most of the time the 1" drop isn't a problem, but you CAN scrap the strakes (I replace mine when they get scuffed up too badly) and you can bang the frame going over speed bumps, so you have to be VERY CAREFUL.

EDIT: Half shaft spacers offer no real benefit.
