Wait so, getting just springs (along the lines of espelir, eibach, or swift/tanabe) wont decrease my handling in any way right? I just can't afford coilovers right now ... nor do I think I will ever push the car hard enough to make use of them.
The Eibach Pro Kit made very little if any difference in the way my early AP1 handled. Just be sure to get the car aligned after the drop. Might be a good time to try the UK alignment specs.

I am running Tanabe GF210 Springs on stock shocks. The ride is slightly firmer and the spring rates are pretty mild. Drop looks good and the car handles better. Then I switched to Euro spec alignment and I can say that I was pleased, aleviated the strong bumpsteer, car feels good. Once the stock shock blow, I'll be going with some PSS9's or Teins. I'm happy for now.

How many inches were you dropped? I want to drop mine on the borderline of getting my fender rolled. well not THAT close to getting it rolled, but enough so that I don't have to. I think I might go with the tanabe GF210's .. and for the euro alignment, do I just ask the alignment people for that or is it specially done at a custom body shop?

I went with the Espelir ASD. It improved my cars cornering grip. I have a favorite clover ramp i use for testing (i know i shouldn't be testing on public roads, but i know the ramp so well and ofcourse i do it when there's no traffic) i noticed a gain in 2-3mph at cornering limit. I think it's due to the increase in rear camber and minor toe out up front that the drop caused.

i bought those springs to but i got a dumb question, do you need a camber kit like those other honda's? how much lower did it actually go? i'm debating whether or not i should install it or sell the springs because i don't know if i could make it up my driveway. i might possibly accidentally spill cement with water on my driveway and make a ramp since it will already happen....

how long do you thing the stock shocks will hold after getting aftermarket springs? (given regular driving with occasional spirited)

you don't need a chamber kit, you can adjust it with the lower control arm but i suggest taking to a alignment shop and just have them re-align everything. It dropped a good amount, front is flush and rear probably has a half inch gap. The ride quality is still good, only noticable on large bumps. It's easier to scrape so just take extra caution. In regards to the drive way problem, laying down a 2 X 4 in the gutter helps pretty good.
Installation was a breeze, i didn't know our S2000 design was this simple. Only troublesome issue was clearance of the rear driver side suspension.

Depends on the springs you get. Personally, I would also upgrade the shocks as well. I ran with lowering springs and OEM shocks for awhile and never had a problem, but after some research, I had found some people that had blown out some OEM shocks on lowering springs. Just some advice, that's all.

Yeah, I'm not going to do nearly the amount of autocrossing and tracking to take full advantage of coilovers, I'm going to get the Tein H or S (It would be cool if someone could tell me the difference). Anyone know how much labor usually is for installing this? and what does a UK alignment spec mean?
