people that ave done lowering springs w/ stock shocks, how long did the shocks last, i know this is not the best idea but im just doing it for looks right now and plan to do a full setup later. how many did they last and how many miles was on the shocks before the install, im trying to get n idea of how my 60k miles shocks will hold up with the lowering springs, thanks.

I had 50k on my stock setup before switching to the Eibach Pro-Kit. I could tell the difference right away, as the back end would tend to bounce around a bit on a hard corner. It was definitely softer than OEM. I attribute it to the "progressive" design of the Eibachs.

I then put over 60k MORE miles on the car before just swapping in some Koni Yellows!!! I can't believe I made it so long. It is so nice to get that OEM feel back. Its not like the OEM shocks blew out. They just got softer and softer and might be hard to pick up on if you are in it all the time.

Depends on your driving;they can last a good while, and you can blow them in one track day.!!!

yup, depends how hard you beat on them, but they definitely arn't designed for lowering springs, and can probably bottom out pretty easily
