You do get some odd looks with the top down when it's cold..even odder looks when it's raining!
ROFL, "more gas=less wet" only works to some extent

Yeh but if your driving down in cold weather for awhile the your top is sitting down in the well area and no way of reheating it....if its below 50 I dont do it.

all-season tires? no way. winter tires all the way. this car is fun as hell with great winter tires. I have the Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSi's myself.

and i've had the top down as cold as 35 degrees.

I put mine down the other day when it was probably 45-50* out and had my plastic rear window crack (MY '01). Be careful.

I was away for the weekend and had left the top down. It was 38* here this morning, but nice and sunny out, so it was a nice ride to work.

I seem to have a problem with the top folding all the way down in colder weather, it folds about 85-90% of the way, not the last little bit, unless I put it up, then down again. weird? does anyone else have this problem?
Your elastic straps are probably worn out and need to be replaced. Its a pricy jop by honda, but Modifry has a cheap fix....

crank the car, let it heat up, point all vents to the roof or just up in general for about 6-8 min. Then lower the top. This allows the canvas to heat up and be more stretchable. Thus allowing it to not have to work as hard to go down all the way!! That is what I do......
Not canvas, the S2000 top is vinyl.
