Lowering top in cold weather

I don't think Honda recommends anything under 40 because you run the risk of cracking the top when it folds down, and when you go to put it up again it may be excessively tight from the cold and risk damage.

I know a guy who replace convertible tops, and he said he gets a good amount of business from people who damage their tops by putting them up and down in cold weather.
