sometimes i leave the top down in the garage so it is already down.....then i take it out in 30 degree weather...however, before putting it up...i wait for a warmer day to not put any strain or just heat up the top a little...

ill never really put the top down when its too cold if its not already down

must be fun driving in the snow with the top down..too bad my car doesn't see snow lol
I live in Laguna Beach-- it was somewhat chilly one night, and I now have a massive crack in my back window

I'm not sure on the exact temp, but it had to be in the low 30s/high 20s when I came over the mountains with the top down about a month ago. It was about 5:30am, sun wasn't up yet and there was frost in the trees and on the sides of the road. The summit of the pass was warmer than it was on my side of the mountains (3500ft give or take) that I was coming to. Had the top down almost the whole way (120+ miles)

OK, that's pretty hardcore. I was just driving for like 20 minutes.

I've done ~50F at 80mph on the freeway for >20 minutes this fall. I wasn't bundled up, but any colder and I can't do it that on the freeway without either dressing like a polar bear or freezing and not enjoying having the top down.

Last winter, I've gone top down in temps around the 20s-30s for short stints in the city, but I generally won't. And I certainly wouldn't do that on the freeway without dressing specifically for that purpose.

I did 44 degrees the night I bought the car and drove it the 30 miles home. How could I NOT drive it top down the first night I bought it? It wasn't too bad with the heater and a hoodie. Colder than that and I think I'd need some gloves and a jacket.

Obviously not the coldest in this thread, but I love driving the car when it is cold or at night. You don't get the sun in your eyes and your back doesn't get sticky on the seat.

I thought about putting the top down on the way home after buying my car. I opened that door and that was the end of that stupidity for me lol

Yikes, you're crazy running cruise control at 80 in subfreezing temps. Black ice, man!

31 Degrees here. I am in San Diego and I went snowboarding up at Bear Mtn and the Temp was 31 Deg topdown with the snowboard in the passenger seat. Definitely cold and scary considering I had the stock S-02's on there.
