Yikes, you're crazy running cruise control at 80 in subfreezing temps. Black ice, man!
lol youre quite right. That was in new mexico/texas in the desert so it was pretty arid out. Although when I got into the mountains I did turn it off when I saw ice. Even at 60 mph with ice all over the ground and just 2 grooves to drive in its super scary.... more so when you drive and your car gets pulled by these grooves left and right. Glad I Live in socal.

My car is parked in the garage during the night, so top is alwayz down in the garage. Ofcourse i hold true to the top down alwayz except for the rain part, haven't tried that yet. But last week according to the bank sign it was 43 here a couple of weeks ago, and i was rollin top down, heat full blast...lol

I grew up with a Dad and a Grampa very much into their MGs

They both taught me the difference between these two points of view
- The top gets put down in nice weather
- The top gets put up when it rains

I live according to the second point of view, if it ain't raining, my top is down.

About 2-weeks ago it was down in the 27-degree F range at 6:45am when I left the house for work, my top was down, the windows were up, my gloves and hat were on, and the heater was cranked right up, and I was perfectly comfortable and warm.

If the sun is out, the top is down. My exhaust sounds 100x better with the top down anyway (HKS)
