LS7 S2000
Xyster has mentioned this car a few times in his V8 S2000 thread. It's a very nice setup. Loads of power, great weight balance, beautiful fitment with the HRE wheels... lots of money in that car.
They just recently finished swapping in a Ford 8.8" IRS differential, same differential Xyster and I are using for our V8 builds.

These became unimpressive after the 40th or 50th thread posted about them. Although I am still fond of the flame bait "hater" disclaimer at the end of each of these threads. Those get more and more amusing.
It always amazes me how they're able to shoe horn in a V8 motor

Interesting car and I'm sure its a lot of fun to own but in reality its no longer an S2000. This car is now a very nice looking hotrod. Nothing wrong with that. You know the old comparison saying "apples and oranges" . If the S2000 is a apple, this car is an orange.
I've owned a 240Z for years, and it's the same in that community, some insist that a V8 Z is not a Z but some kind of muscle-car/hotrod/anti-Z abomination. In my experience, done right, you get all the positives of a lightweight and well-balanced FR/IRS car *and* the positives of monster torque and tons of power potential of a big-inch V8. Best of both worlds

IMO, if an S2000 is an apple, a well-put-together LS V8 S2000 is an apple^2, not a "hotrod".
I don't get how it's not an s2000 anymore? It's still the same body on the same chassis. The engine internals are just different? No different theoretically then putting on some bolt ons and stroking a f20/f22. If anything this is like the holy grail of engine swaps, keeps damn close to our 50/50 ratio.
Like someone said, would I spend the money to do it? Hell no.
Is it raw as fck? Hell yes

It's an S2000 with a lot more power and very little more weight.

Example ac cobra pretty much one of the greatest if not the greatest roadster created lightweight and big v8 that was made to own the track. This S2000 is amazing enough reliable power right there at the flick of a foot from one of the greatest v8's ever made capable of spinning up to 7000 rpm or 8000rpm if you wanted to. almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution. this creation is infact is a monster and i would love to see track footage of this thing tearing it up or lucky enough to be riding shotgun. You really cannot diss this car but compliment it and envy the owner lol its not for everyone but he has just improved on something that we thought was perfect.
