I guess in 6 months when my lugs start fading I'll give these a try. If someone has already tried them let me know how they are. Strength and durability.

If anyone is interested, I found a source for fiberglass lined sockets. They are a little pricy, but will keep your nuts looking great!

I have the black rays lugs on my new ce28n's. First time I put them on the car, I over-torqued one of the nuts (I was applying the same amount of pressure I normally did with my stock lugs). Definitely learned not to over-torque them.

I guess I'll see how they go. At least I have the stainless steel ones that came with the wheels incase these "expensive" rays one's crap out on me.

The Trust ones are prone to chipping as well, in fact all duranium lug nuts have this problem if you take a rattle gun or apply too much pressure to it. Saying that though, I've not had a problem with the Trust ones over the last 3 years though they now look fairly beaten down with the chipping. But you need to buy 5 sets of them as 1 set only comes with 4 in whatever size and specs.

I had a few people tell me that these Rays lug nuts are problematic. One is a well known vendor of this website who told me that the red and blue ones tend to fade after some months.

I'm going with Spoon instead.

PS - Do not buy from Evasive. They deleted my post on their group buy thread when this discussion abour problems with Rays lug nuts came up.

I just spoke with Evasive and he was very mature about the threads and he told me why he removed them in the other thread. I respect that. Some vendors would BS and not even bother but he at least took the time to respond to me personally. I understand this is a business but IMO its my duty to let other members know that some products have flaws and even when you pay high dollar not all products will hold up to even the minimal abuse. I mean I bought 5 sets of Rays back in the day and learned the hard way and it may have been me but 5 sets is a little too much. Anyway until my Spoon lugnuts strip or fade I will continue to use them...
