Default Maint REQ'D light problem..........

it was fine about 2 days ago, the car in my garage 2 days, never start engine in those 2 days.
I went to post office today, when I start the engine (or maybe just key on), the MAINT REQ'D light flash about 10 sec (I guess), then turn off.
I never see this happened on my car before, what is MAINT REQ'D light for???

it will flash few time... like it has happend to u...
after few days it will be on all the time...
it comes on every 7k miles or something...
notting to worry about.

what u need to is look at your manual, and it will tell you how to turn it off..

Yea, don't confuse the Maint Req'd Light with the Check Engine Light. The Maint Req'd light is just a reminder that comes on at a pre-set interval

This is a question I get all the time on my accord forum.

you really should obtain one - there is safety info everyone should know, and much useful info to protect you and your investment. Example: How are you going to tell the gorillas that the wheel nuts should be torqued to 90 #/ft, not 200?

I have a pal who is a State Trooper, and he tells me all the time that accidents are caused by people not knowing enough about their cars - such as the car will not start in Drive, how to turn on the emergency flashers, etc. It amazed me! I'll bet they know every feature of their cell phones.

Helm Inc. sells them.
