Ok---I have turned this thing off one time. The manual says hold the key in the 1st position and press the trip meter button to turn off the maintenance warning light on the dash. I know I did it once before but this time I'm not having any luck. Am I missing a trick to this?

I always find that it is easier to hold down the rest button then turn the key into the on position (first position). Remember you have to wait until it flashes or something like that.

Good Luck and Happy Motoring!
